Poppy Illsley is a filmmaker whose work applies a fine art training, and narrative filmmaking techniques to creating documentary and educational material, primarily covering scientific topics.
Her work observes the rigour of scientific endeavour through the lens of human idiosyncrasy and storytelling. Her clients include the Insitute for Research in Schools, the Federation for European Neuroscience Societies, Nature Magazine, the ALBA Network, the Mullard Space Science Laboratory, Spolka, and the Royal Academy of Engineering.
